Dalziel & Pow
3 years as Middleweight Graphic Designer at Dalziel & Pow, a London based agency working primarily in the retail sector. This was a role that was created to fit the needs of the agency and I was the first to fill this position.
My role was to be the in-house designer for the business. This covered everything from being the sole designer on 1 of the company brochures, designing internal communications, branding and emails for the business, as well as adverts and client work. I worked closely with the digital team on various projects including the company website and was also responsible for putting multiple presentations and pitch documents together to send to clients as the first representation of the business.
The role I had was unique where I worked closely day to day with the top level of the company including Marketing, Graphics and Digital Directors as well as the Creative Director.

I was also responsible for maintaining the brand guidelines and approving all artwork sent from our franchise partners, making sure every detail is correct from type face, point size and colour to alignment and making sure our logo is correct, sometimes detecting our logo is not typed out in similar typeface.
Hobbies / Employment
My hobbies include playing guitar, drums, computer games and freelance design work. I also belong to an Amateur Dramatics society where I have performed in many shows, been in leading roles and have had the position of Assistant Choreographer and Assistant Director. I have also recently taken to studying concept art, designing my own video game art and User Interface design.

Murari Vasudevan – Creative Director at MARK AR
Kane is an easy pick to have in any team - he's quick, talented and easy to work with. During his time at PSST, working on MARK AR, he was able to quickly prototype different visual looks and styling for the app, from a simple brief. He also made very creative use of well-known branded IP to integrate it into the app's activations. His passion and enthusiasm comes across in every interaction he has with partners. Overall, a great person to have onboard!
Jon Hamblin – Senior Producer at MARK AR
I worked With Kane at MARK (Psst LTD.) in 2020. Kane was an excellent Graphic Designer who was always up for any challenge we could throw at him, whether that was designing great UI, creating awesome looking social ads or creating stickers for the app. Extremely quick to respond to any request, and the results always far exceeded the briefs we gave him. Kane would be a fantastic addition to any team, and you should definitely hire him today. Or yesterday, if possible.
David Christensen – Lead UI/UX Designer at MARK AR
I managed Kane while working on the Mark App. He brought a swiss army knife of visual design skills to the table that were key in our start up creating our first product. In the early stages of development he was instrumental as he is adept at rapidly exploring visual styles, generating mood boards, and educating key stakeholders on graphic design trends. His final work was always extremely polished and his flare for color and composition drove the visual development of our product. He owned our brand development and has an eye for icon and logo design. We called on him to perform in a variety of capacities, including product prototyping, marketing art, and user interface design. He was knowledgable in all of these fields and enabled our product team to be extremely agile. He brings a ton of positive energy to his work and was an excellent addition to our team.
Sam Piper – Creative Lead at Frontier Developments
Having hired and worked with Kane for almost 3 years, I would describe him as a well rounded, talented and meticulous designer. He not only demonstrates great graphic skills across the Adobe range but also the people skills to manage and direct a team too. It’s clear his chosen career path is his passion and this is visible in an abundance. A reliable, honest and genuinely good person, easy to manage and great to collaborate with. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.
Roberta Travagin– Marketing Manager at Karen Millen
I have employed and worked with Kane for about two years at Karen Millen. Kane is a really skilled and committed individual. His creativity and sense of aesthetic made him an asset to the team. Kane works well as part of a team and can easily multitask, however I believe it would be very good as a freelancer to bring ad hoc projects to life.
Andrew Hardy – Visual Merchandising Consultant at Karen Millen
I worked closely alongside Kane for a year at Karen Millen where he provided me with vital graphic support in raising the visual standard of the brand’s store window installations. He has an aptitude for understanding and interpreting a brief that makes him stand out from other graphic designers. He pays close attention to what you say and makes sure that his creative solution also reflects the overall values of the brand. A versatile designer with strong interpersonal and time-management skills, used to multi tasking at speed and under pressure, Kane would be a great hire for any job either full time or freelance.
